A Student Was Assaulted in the JV Locker Room

The assault took place in the locker room of the varsity football team. A video of the incident was recorded, which has since gone viral through social media. In it, the victimized student was carried around and pushed to the locker room floor.

There were about 100 rally members in total in attendance in support of the victim. The crowd included parents, community members and classmates who demand justice and want to ensure those responsible are held accountable for their actions.

The Public Wants More to be Done

The vibe was a mixture of sympathy, disappointment and outrage among the crowd of protestors. According to some protesters, the victim is only 14 and has special needs.

The school’s superintendent stated on Wednesday that the rallying occurred; the school has finished its investigation and found the victim did not suffer from extremely inappropriate behavior. He also confirmed that there was no element of sexual assault.

The superintendent reassured the public that the school had made the appropriate sanctions on the victim’s behalf.
