Bio

Darbi was lucky to be born and raised in San Diego. Before embarking on her legal career, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and served as a Social Media Manager and Communications Director for a local church. Inspired by a lifelong interest in law, Darbi decided to apply for law school at the start of the pandemic.

She was thrilled to be admitted to the University of San Diego School of Law, where she could remain close to her family and study in a beautiful environment. While at USD, Darbi worked as an Academic Success Fellow, assisting first-year students with their Tort Law coursework. She also served as an editor for the San Diego International Law Journal and worked as a research assistant. Also, Darbi was a proud member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and was honored with the Law Faculty Outstanding Scholarship Award.

Darbi gained valuable hands-on experience during law school through several externships and clerkships. She interned with the San Diego City Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Division and later served as a Judicial Extern in the Civil Division of the San Diego Superior Court.

Darbi initially joined Thorsnes Bartolotta McGuire as a law clerk, where she quickly grew to appreciate the firm’s commitment to excellence and its strong advocacy for clients. After passing the California Bar Exam, she was promoted to Associate Attorney in 2024.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Darbi enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting events, and supporting local theater productions. She takes great pride in serving her hometown community through her legal work.
